Whooping Cranes Killed in Florida Storms

Last week's storms in Florida effected more than the human population in the area. It was also devastating to a small flock of rare Whooping Cranes being housed at Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge near Crystal River, Florida. Operation Migration was attempting to establish a second migratory flock of the cranes to supplement to main flock (which migrates between Canada and Texas).
